Balancing your body systems
Your Functional Health
In this day of advancing technology and the ease of information access, we can easily get lost in the plethora of conflicting information pertaining to health issues, diseases, fitness, nutrition and lifestyle. For the average person, this can be overwhelming, confusing and make you just want to give up.
VSB Functional Health is committed to working with you in order to sort through the vast amounts of information and help setup a path for improving your health. Our approach is to assess and share information for how toxins, lifestyle, diet, activity, stress and genetic predisposition impact living our best vibrant life.
Understand Imbalances
Set expectations for a journey to re-balancing whole person health
Through a series of consultations, intake forms, and reviewing lab work, we can prepare you with options for repairing and restoring functional health. Once you’ve been able to understand the inter-connectedness across biological systems that serve as dynamic indicators of your health situation, you’re prepared to make decisions for committing to the journey necessary to simply feel better.
As you engage with VSB, you will quickly see that we do not follow conventional health care methods. Why would we? We are not licensed physicians prescribing drugs to mask the health issue until the situation is worse and requires yet another drug. Our approach is to ask good questions, discuss answers and really investigate what could be the root cause of the health situation. This investigation requires a thorough review from a biochemical, physiological and lab chemistry lens.
Cut through the overwhelm
Educate and empower you to own your health
When working to resolve root cause health issues, it can feel frustrating, feel overwhelming and most of all, a lot of effort and commitment. Because our bodies are amazing complex creations, the phrase “peeling back an onion” seems to fit nicely in terms of how we need to approach complex health issues. It can be difficult at times to stick to the necessary changes in lifestyle habits, refining/restricting dietary choices and wrapping a discipline around stress management and activity. However, the potential benefit of truly resolving a root cause imbalance by far exceeds the short piece of our lives we dedicate to resolution.
Along the way you can expect to grow your knowledge and education of how your body is meant to function. Selecting the path to feeling better starts by understanding what unique options are available, then making an educated decision for taking ownership of your health.
